Calcium Chloride for dust control

Please... no lectures about the environment. Highway departments use CaCl2 for ice and dust control by the barge load. On gravel roads if applied properly it will draw moisture from the air and gravel and form an almost pavement like surface. One treatment will last for several years if done correctly.
Has anyone tried it on reclaim (recycled asphalt)? I think it would work the same and darken up the surface.

Will the recycle absorb moisture like gravel will? I think that would be the limiting factor on how effective it would be.

Part of my drive is reused road millings...works exceptionally well.

This is mid-build with the bio removed and drive dug down about 8 inches. Added geo-textile cloth base, larger rock / milling chunks for base layer and loose road millings spread on top layer.

We put asphalt millings 1.5 to 2” thick ( it was supposed to be more) over a good gravel base. So far, it has worked out quite well. The rain does not wash out like 3/4 crush with dust. I just used our plate tamper and water to compact it.
A year later, the tire path is like pavement and the edges are a little softer. The water seems to perk through the edges.

What the locals say for asphalt millings was to mist it (spray it) down with diesel. Then compact it. Needs to be hot day in the summer time.
