I like dealing with Lowes for a couple reasons. One, they always seem to have a good selection and their delivery charges aren't bad either plus they will take the old appliance for a reasonable price plus at least here, the stores are staffed with mostly Vets.

I called for the best price on a tractor one time. They gave me a dollar amount and I responed that I wanted a quote number. They gave me the quote number, then didn't honor the quote when I pulled into there lot to pick up the tractor the next day.

Drove down the road to a different dealer and bought the tractor they had quoted me. A little more money, but an honest dealer.

The first dealer called two days later and wanted to sell the tractor I left at thier dealership. LOL!

Just curious as to what 'Garage Ready' means?? I have 2 chest freezers in the unheated side of the garage / shop and they run and freeze just fine. One is an Amana, the other is a Whirlpool neither was garage ready until I put them in the garage....lol Almost everyone I know has at least one freezer in their garage.

Only thing I miss Sears and Grabbuck for was their tools. The old Craftsman tools were great. The new Craftsman made in China tools suck. Even HF is better. Sears, like KMart didn't advance with the times so they went down the crapper.

They just handle the extreme cold and excess humidity better. It's really more important in a refrigerator/freezer combo, as the unit will keep your freezer items frozen even when the frig is cold enough.
