Hi there,
Just picked up a new to me 1964 Ford 2000 to upgrade from my '54 NAA. Needs some tlc, but got a screaming deal on it and it appears to have good bones and internals. Most all the parts are there, and he also had a box full of new stuff (just didnt have time for it anymore). The interesting thing is the original color on this tractor is orange! The story he was told by the pervious owners is that this tractor "originally" came from SE Michigan. Growing up down there I know that most orange equipment and trucks are usually county DPW or MDOT...at least in my 41 years. There is a tag riveted to the front right side of the hood with some numbers on it. I know its a shot in the dark, but anyone out there recognize the tag/numbering? Just hoping to find out this tractors original home.
Thanks in advance for any info!
Mike
