Tiller Can a Belarus 32 Hp AS 250 handle 72" Tiller

The net says 30 to 40 Hp tractor can handle a 6 ft/72 in 3 point tiller.

Any body got any experience with this topic.

My Russian built 250 is great The Pto on it has a great safety feature that kicks it out if you overspeed or what it is turning binnds up (bush hog hits a stump) Will the 6 ft tiller overload it and kick it out????? thats why I am asking for some one with experience with AS250s It has 32 Hp by the stats and a great LL gear.

Found a great buy on a 6ft ford tiller $500 verses $1200 for the cheapesrt 5 ft I have found. But not a great buy if the tractor will not handle it.

Help please

Sorry I don't have the exact answer you're looking for but...I spent most of yesterday tilling my rocky hard clay with a 5' Savona tiller on my 22hp B7800. Never had a issue with a lack of power and I was using the deepest setting.
I'd think you'd be fine with an extra foot of tiller and a few more ponies.

I had a Belarus 250 for 21 years. It was a poor rig for my 72" rear snowblower because it didn't have live PTO and the creeper gear was not available in reverse. BUT I would try the 72" tiller - it should work well with the forward creeper gear. The PTO rating on mine was 25HP, but it had tremendous low end torque when it started to bog down. If it does start to bog, you can always raise the tiller and make another pass. For $500, I would try it....if it doesn't perform like you want you should be able to re-sell it.
