can a l5740 fit in anormal garage-

guys - I was so excited to get my dad the tractor i never thought where to store it??- Of course my Boss(Wife) always thinks of the logical- like where are you going to put it??- Would it fit in a normal garage -the tractor has a cab- thanks

What are the dimensions to your garage, I can't get to my tractor to measure right now, but it fits in our garage with an 8' door, service ours in the garage, but store it in our barn.

Which tires are you looking at? Depending on the type of tire, it will also effect the overall height.

I will say that my friend's L5740 with Turf Tires (these are a bit shorter in height than the R4's) fits in his garage without a problem and that's got an 8ft door.

Many standard garage doors are just 7 foot due to interior ceiling heights of 8 foot. Most newer houses with extra tall 9 foot + ceiling have 8 foot doors and they just barely clear on my BILS NH 2310 Boomer tractor with cab.

According to the Kubota website, it says 94.7 inches for the Cab model .. It did not specify which tires though.

I have a L4740 w/ r/4's. My garage has a 7' door, with door open I have 85", my tractor without a cab just fit in and what I mean by just, I'm talking about 1/8", and that is with the ROP's folded. The Kubota web site had a measurement and were they off. I ended up removing the ROPS,and cut 3" off the bottom, just couldn't take a chance of hitting the door when we have a heavy wet packing snow. I didn't get a cab on my tractor because I knew it wouldn't fit in my 85" opening.

My L5740HSTC with R-4s fits in my 96" garage door with good clearance (an inch or two). The dimension in the spec is with standard ag R-1 tires which have a larger loaded radius than the R-4s.

10 foot door required for mine (R1 tires) to keep the ROPS up.
