To check how evenly filled you got your tires, jack up the rear of the tractor.
Position the valve stem at 12 O'clock.
Remove the valve core.
Slowly rotate the tire until fluid comes out. Normally, most people fill their tires to the 10 or 11 O'clock position which is about 75%.
If both sides are even you should have fluid come out at the same clock setting. If one is at 9 and one at 10, add more fluid to the 9 side.
When complete, reinstall the cores at the 12 position and add air. Most people run between 12-20 PSI.

You can also see the fill line in the morning of a cool night and a warm humid day. There will be a dew line where the fluid line comes to on the warming tire. The fluid in the tire is cold and dew forms at the fluid line.

NO! Not a chance to damage anything

No, but make sure you didn't overfill either tire. There needs to be a good air cushion on top of the fluid. Normally people just fill to the top of the rim, and the rest is air cushion. Very important, as the fluid won't give at all.

A little later in the fall, I find that the method James suggests is the simplest and most accurate. However, as Mace & CalG indicate - I've never worried about it.

Just to play devil's advocate. Yes, if one tire has no fill of any type in it whatsoever (pancake flat) and the other is completely filled with some type of fill I venture you will damage the tire with no fill of any type whatsoever when you drive on it ;)

Visualize the air at 10psi, in the top of your tire, above the rim. Now think of how heavy you would have to load up that axle to compress the bottom of the tire to 1/2 its volume and therefore double its pressure from 10 to 20 psi.

Not to tires, but perhaps you. Sideslope performance would be different depending on which side is upslope. If the tires are a lot different the light side up would be a surprise.
