That is a Ford 723 Backhoe from the early 1970's. It was the predecessor of the 750/753/755 models introduced in 1965. It was manufactured in Royal Oak, MI in the former Sherman facility as the 723 had actually been built by Sherman prior to them being aquired by Ford.

The 4-lever controls were said to have class (Crowd Lift Actuate (bucket) Swing). The system really was easy to use with just a little practice.
