Can anyone tell me if these turf tires will fit my L5740?

I have found someone locally who has a Kubota MX5000 with some Galaxy 41/18LL-16.1 rear tires and rims that he wants to trade for my 17.5L-24 R4's. He also has turf tires on the front that he will trade too, but I'm not sure of the size of the fronts.

I'm pretty sure the bolt patterns are the same and would swap, but his tractor is 2 wheel drive and mine is 4 wheel drive. I guess my concern is the front tires. Since my tractor is 4wd, do I need to have a specific size front tire to match the rears? If so, how can I find out what size would match the Galaxy 41/18LL-16.1?

And, tractordata.com shows my tractor with 44x18-20 as the turf tire available for my tractor, and the same available for his.

His 2WD tractor doesn't require tires of a specific size like your 4WD. Without 4WD he can run any size tires on the rear or front as long as each pair are the same. Your current R4's should be 12-16.5 Fronts and 17.5-24 Rears. You need 29x12.5-15 Fronts and 44x18-20 Rears for turf tires to maintain the proper gear ratio F to R according to tractordata.com. His tractor should have the 44x18-20's as you mentioned. Apparently someone changed them at some point. You could try a tractor tire dealer and ask them what front tire size should go on a 4WD tractor using 41/18LL-16.1 rears. They might have a book showing the proper ratio front tires for those rear ones.
