New here and not that tractor savy, but want to learn. Hey girls like tractors too!! Just bought a Kubota 7510 has an fel and a rear blade. I am really excited about playing with it this summer. Can I add or retrofit spikes to the rear blade piece thats bolted onto the main blade or something like that to mix up the soil, barkchips and manure in my arena instead of taking the blade off and adding another attachment like a ripper or whatever, or is that a bad idea? tks

Welcome to TBN and I would think you would be better off getting a Box Blade or a rake. :D

I'd also agree that a box blade with ripper shanks would be more appropriate than adding rippers to an angle blade that may not have the stabilization needed for scratching around like that.. not to mention you loose the ability to make nice smooth leveled surfaces if you weld rippers to your cutting edge..

Thanks you guys for you thoughts. I guess I will look further into those box scrapers. Found one on the local Craigs but not sure how to tell if it would fit on my tractor. Is a 3pt cat1 attachment universal? tks

your machine is a cat 1..

I wouldn't get too much over a 5' box or so due to hp though, especially if ripping.
