Can I change the Hydro Connector layout?

What about jacking up the filter side to cause the fluid to flow away from it? Less likely for it to flow uphill out the port, no?

Also, there is a small bracket that looks to be a protector shield for the filter. Appears to come off with one bolt, maybe two. Correct?

I'm not keen on taking the tire off since it's filled and quite heavy.
Just use a shop vac, you would have to have the tractor at a 45 degree angle to keep the fluid from coming out.

Yes, the shop vac is the easiest way to go. And yes, taking off that shield as I stated before, makes it much easier to do

We pretty much got sidetracked from your original question. So, For one, adding any extension hoses onto the stock hoses would not void the warranty. And two, that would probably be the most economically sensible way to do it.
