Do it yourself. Buy all of the parts & oil from Deere. The MMM needs to come off (doesn't have to but extremely simplifies the project). You need to learn how to remove the MMM anyhow for cleaning, blade replacement, etc. The most difficult part, like someone stated eariler, is removing the suction screen tube. I fought with it for ~ twenty minutes and then followed the tube up to where it bolts to the top of the unit (see attachment). Remove those three bolts (part #20 in picture) accessed from atop of the rear tire and it allows you to get things apart in like two minutes. Just remember to have container(s) available to hold the 3+ gallons of hydro fluid. Also, the hydro fluid you drain will be red-ish (like auto trans fluid) and the new will be gold-ish (like engine oil).
