Re: Can I use a 10\" miter saw as an abrasion CO saw?
I am not sure what thickness's it is good for. When I first saw it being used on a job site that I was working on, the guy was cutting 2x2, 2x4, & 2x6 steel tubing, all 1/4" wall thickness. No burrs at all and the metal was not hot at all after the cut. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif This saw cuts steel like a hot knife in cold butter. I was building my digging bucket for my 7520 and just had to have it /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I have only cut 3/8" & 1/2" steel. I think that it is good for 1/16" & up. I have no doubt that it would cut 4x4 solid stock without a problem. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
