Can NH dealer do warranty work on Case?

Does anyone know if a New Holland dealer can do warranty work on a Case product? My machine is basically the exact same machine as one in the NH line, with nearly all parts (except grille, headlights, & sheet metal - color) being interchangeable.

A nearby NH dealer service dept. told me they cannot do warranty work on my Case. Just wondering if they were telling me the truth, as there probably is another new machine in my future (next year or two). If they were being truthful, then I'll keep them on my future dealer shopping list, but if they were feeding me a line, then they won't get a visit when it's time for the new machine.

I don't know for sure, but I would say probably not. Years ago I wanted a GMC dealership to perform warranty on my Chevy truck. They said that they weren't allowed. Probably related to territorial allocations and such.

We sell the Red ones and as much as we represent the Blue in some areas we still can't do warrantee work on what we don't have a contract on. This also holds true for other makes where we don't hold a particular contract per model.

No they cannot we sell NewHolland and can do no warrenty work on case also alot of the part# are different between the two brands even for the same basic model of machine

OK, thanks for the feedback. I'll just take it out to my dealer - no complaints with them other than the long drive.
