Can someone help identify this connector?

I am trying to determine the size and type of this quick connect. It is part of the rear outlet kit on my John Deere 2720. The connector is marked "Pioneer" but has no other markings. Is this 1/2", 3/4", etc. When purchasing a mating mail quick-connect, what do I tell them I have?

I believe TSC/Northern/Farm n Fleet etc would have that just bring that one and match it up.

I was looking to confirm the model/style number and size. I ordered a hydraulic top link and just want to ensure I get the right hoses. The Fit Rite Hydraulics guy says it's a 1/2" AG so I'm going to go with that. I just can't figure where the 1/2" dimension comes from when nothing measures 1/2". I can't believe the connector doesn't have a part number embossed on it somewhere. I'm a hydraulics newbie so I don't know anything about this stuff. I can't even find any markings on the hoses or couplings on the tractor's side-mount SCV's to tell me what size the loader hoses and couplings are. Do they purposely make this stuff vague? I'm used to working with copper wire and coax where all the cables and connectors are clearly marked with the type / model / gauge / etc.

The size is based on IPS, Iron Pipe Size which is based on the nominal inside diameter of pipe. In your case if it's 1/2" pipe the female fitting wouldn't measure 1/2" because it's based on the id of the pipe that screws into it. To further confuse you pipe doesn't even measure the size that it's called because it depends on the schedule (wall thickness) the od remains the same it's the id that changes until you get up to 12" than it's the OD x wall thickness. ........Mike
