Can someone run a serial# for me?

I'm now in the works of buying this tractor. JD has already have the loan approved. Just the salesguy and I are not eye to eye on the downpayment. Anyway I'm going to use this time to try to research this unit if possible. If anyone could run the serial I would greatly appreciate it. Serial# LV5300E631378. Any info is appreciated.
While I have yalls ear. I'm new to the tractor relm of things. Does folks upgrade their tractors for performace or it just generally just add attachments leaving the tractor basicually stock?

Build date March 12 1997, no warranty claim except for a small $15.00 switch. You shouldn't need to hotrod this machine, if you do then you should have gotten a larger tractor to begine with. If I can help let me know.

I think common upgrades are additional worklights and canopys to keep sun/rain off you. I agree with gamble, generally no sense trying to get more hp out of the motor.

gamble thanks very much. Is it possible to find out if it was a local tractor? Well local to Alabama.
I was wondering on the performance cause I've noticed this engine has been used for a long time in many models and very series it comes with 3-4 different horsepowers. I really cant find what JD did to get the extra 10 hp from each model. For example the 5300 a 60hp 2.9L has the same engine as the 5310 65hp 2.9L. The 03 series is the same way. Yes I should have gotten the 5310 but it's just not in the cards.
