ENOUGH! My head hurts! The very place I go to get away from petty politics, inuendo, insults, and hostility, has become the wiegh station for such.... It seems that a few people want to discuss "what's wrong with TBN"...... Well, currently, it's the discussion on what's wrong with TBN....

GIVE IT A REST!

I agree. Let's focus on the positive which to me is reading and responding with what, I think, I can help the members.

PS I will look at my own posts to be sure that I have not been belly-achin about anything, and not being positive and supportive of the admins doing a great job. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

How about peace and low rumbles [ok, with a few high pitched weedwackers and chainsaws singing backup] and a faint smell of diesel smoke? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, back to the 85% rule mentioned before...at the same time someone said it is more like 95-99% around here, and I couldn't agree more.

Three times I've seen someone sign on with the obvious intent of causing trouble [actually I think one was asking serious questions, but very easily agitated]; else I've had nothing but good responses either in threads or PM.

I mentioned this a couple times before; but when I was first new and stupid [maybe still? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif] here: I treated what should have been my first post as PM instead (thought I was too strange comparing a consumer unit to a commercial unit, little did I know how many others had similar questions in the next few months). I picked a diverse group of 3 members; in less than 12 hours I got 3 great responses: Amazing! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif BTW Those responses ultimately made my choice much easier.

More recently I got off track on a thread [into what could be a highly opiniated topic] and continued shortly in that direction with another member. After seeing that nobody else was participating in either the original dircetion or the new direction of the thread, I sent a PM esentially thanking the other member for the discussion and hoping we catch up again in the next one. He responded in kind; quite impressive. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Finally, in my ignorance of "how things used to be"; I had to ask an experienced member about things; great response; he did show me there is still a little "heat" though [not from him]. I can't quite understand why there's those few who take things too personal, but I'd say we're doing pretty dang good....

I got it! Maybe TBN needs to be liquid "cooled" instead air "cooled"! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif [No, know idea what I mean by that, just found humor in the pun /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif]
