Can you add a factory cab

As far as I know there is more difference in a cabbed tractor than just the cab. Sometimes different tranny options, and the controls are probably placed differently. Seat may be different, etc...
Better off to build a cab if you can, or sell the tractor and buy a used equivalent cabbed tractor. Or trade it in. You would probably be money ahead, and would definitely be time/frustration ahead.

Look at Sims or Curtis as the cabs they make look like factory made and have all the bells and whistles.

The add on cabs will never be on par with the factory cabs,just can't be done.May-be if you spent a ton of money,it would be cheaper to trade tractors.My son uses a small JD at work with a Curtis cab added,very cold in winter,no air in summer and very noisy.

I think it was Curtis cabs(perhaps one of the other after market cabs) that had a price list of all the options that I checked once. To get all the things that a factory cab came with, would cost $10K and that was not including installation which could run another $1K or more.
The best thing for you to do would be to trade your tractor in on one with a cab. Factory cab options usually run about $4500 above the base tractor cost and include extra lights, radio/CD player, side mirrors, turn signals and of course HVAC. They would likely have much more sound proofing than an add on also.

Although these aftermarket cabs have come a long way, they are still second rate in my opinion. A lot of things get butchered, like wiring and heater hoses. Maybe OEM cab tractors have larger alternators or even water pumps. Plus you won't likely get AC or it will be one of those electric ones.
There were times when you had no OEM cab option, like on the JD 110 and that was a different story.

Save yourself a lot of headaches and get the cabbed tractor you want.No remorse.

I agree on trading for a cab tractor and back in the 70's-80's I installed several new Hiniker & Y-A-R cabs on tractors. Factory cabs are much better and quieter.

A lauren cab may be available, howeve,r i agree with the opinion of the other members, replace your machine with a factory cab model! I have a factory cab model and a new curtis cab tractor, im very pleased with the curtis cab! Its nothing like the factory cab, but it doe's what i wanted it to do, keeps me warm and dry!

there are alot more to the cab than just the cab unit itself. The entire area from firewall foreword is different.
I actually thought about adding a Curtis cab to my old 870, but the idea of no AC discouraged me. I wanted to leave it on in summer due to bees and hornet issues here. And id roast without the ac.
When i purchased my Kioti, the cab ran $7,000 over same model without. I didnt even consider getting one without.
$7,000 seems like alot for just a cab, but that also included 2 sets of wipers, all that glass, a/c and heater, lights, sound deadening equipment, stereo , speakers,antenna, mirrors, larger alternator, ac compressor and hoses,heater hoses, larger radiator, plus stuff i dont even know about. Heck i doubt i could build one (if i had the skill) for less than 7 grand.
