I picked up this plow from Craigslist yesterday. There is no ID plate anywhere on it, but I did find the faded logo shown in one pic below. It has one bad bearing which I'm sure I can find easily at one of the bearing specialty shops around here. But I would like to know the brand name of the plow just to know. Can anyone identify the brand of this plow?

It's a disc not a plow. Looks like a brown to me.

You are correct that it is a disc and not a plow. Not sure it's a Brown brand though. I looked at the Brown logo and it doesn't look like the one I have in the picture. And the hangers are different based on pics on the Brown website. Most of these disc's are made very similar even though the manufacturers are different. And many brand names are made by the same manufacturer. Let's keep searching. I tend to get obsessed with questions like this....

Bearings will not be a problem to find.

No wonder it needs bearings with those I- beam counterweights. Lol

Those counterweights are RR tracks.

Yes the beams are railroad tracks. And, if you look in one pic, the previous owner had another length of track hanging off the back of it, but he removed that before he sold it to me.

We found some bearings at a local shop for about $11 each. We picked up 2, but I will probably change all 8. I think these are chinese imports, so I'm concerned about the quality. I can get some American made for about $20 each.

It also needs some welding where the top link connects. I guess with all that extra weight, that area got weakened.

Can't wait to try it out and see how it does compared to my 6' disc.
