Can ya mix tires Ya.. but it takes one heckuva blender!
The whole idea of 4wd is for traction.. if you don't want to tear up turf.. either disengage 4wd.. or get turfs... Though even a turf spinning will rip up grass some.. and sharp turns will rut in soft areas.
