ok, i just purchased a B7100, and I LOVE IT! but.....I am trying to solve an improtant issue with the 3point hitch. the two lift arms are not level. In fact, they are so different, i assumed someone had put one on the wrong tooth, so I took one off and tried to get them even. WELL, if I lower one the other is too high, and if I raise one, the other is too low ???? the difference is so drastic, I cannot level any of the attachments! raised or lowered the adjustable lift arm is either too long, or too short! UGH! I talked with the local dealer, the seem to think the spindle that lowers and raises the 3 pt attachments is warped??? i dont know how that is even possible, it is one solid piece according to the parts manual. solid steel, at least an inch thick. so anybody have a possible solution? I have tired buying a differnt lift arm, but alas have not found one to work. Help if you can!:confused2:

one lift link should have a threaded adjuster nut.

Try swapping the rockshaft arms to the other side. You may have to buy another adjustable link (one on each side) in order to level the hitch.

Got any pictures?

The left side should have 2 holes on the bottom of the vertical rod (the one that lifts the , so should the right side. They both need to be in the same hole, top or bottom.

The left side should have a crank on the top of the vertical rod to adjust it up or down. Sometimes the gearing gets stripped on these, and they don't actually move when you crank them. Make sure it actually is going longer or shorter.

I can't remember on the 7100, but some 3pt arms also have 2 holes in the middle of them - one closer to the tractor, and one closer to the rear of the arms. the vertical rod needs to be in the same hole on both sides as well.

Do both sides look the same - same paint, same age, etc? If one broke, previous owner or dealer coulda jerry-rigged some generic part on there that isn't the right size. Could be either side, any of the parts really. The vertical rods especially there are lot of generic after market, that might not be the right side.

Down where the arm attach tot he tractor, that little shaft, are the arms hooked onto the shaft properly, are those bottom shafts straight across from each other? A little bent of off or washered wrong on that end can magnify itself.

The 3pt arms themselves - you got one in upside down, or swapped end for end? I've seen that amazingly more often that you would think, and it throws everything off.

Few things to start with.

Are you are saying that when you raise the 3PH it is higher on one side than when you lower it, in relationship to the other side?

I took a picture of the 3 point on our B7500 today whish should be similar to your B7100.
IMAG0362 (Custom).jpg
1L and 1R are the ends of the rockshaft
2L and 2R are the lifting links
3L and 3R are the lift arms

On my B7500:
1L and 1R are level
2R has a screw section which is adjustable in and out to let you level the arms
3L and 3R have 2 holes that 2L and 2R can connect to. The holes closer to the tractor will let the arms lift higher, but with less force. The holes farther out will give more lifting power, but less height.

From the picture posted are 1L & 1R at the same point or level with each other. They fit on a splined shaft. They are easily removed and can be replaced at different positions.:D

True. They are level on my B7500, hopefully jimkonz can point out (based on that picture) which part on his/her tractor is not level.

R U sure about that? The rocker mounted arms on my Kub L's are keyed to a specific position on the spline.
