Canopy Manufacturer

Does anyone have a Tel-Trax or Firebird canopy? Do you like it? My local NH dealer carries both and I'm trying to decide which one to get. With that said the firebird looks better but is also more expensive.

I am currently on my second Firebird Canopy. I liked the first one so much put one on the TC-40D too. They might cost a few bucks more but I do think sometimes you get what you pay for.

IMHO Firebird is a well engineered product.

Thanks for the feedback. As my tractor will not fit in the 8' garage door opening with the ROPS, up can you fold your ROPS down with the canopy on?

Peter since the pole barn has 10' doors we locked the ROPS so that it wouldn't fold. I don't think a ROPS would tend to fold well though with one of these canopies attached. Maybe another member on this site that has more experience and folds theirs will step up to the plate and give you their experiences.

You might also ask that same question of the canopy manufacturer.

I have a Firebird canopy...I like it very well.

I need to fold the rollbar on my JD 2210 to get it in my garage and I found a canopy that I can fold down with my ROPS. The canopy can either be folded down or taken off in a few seconds without any tools. I don't know why someone didn't think of this sooner. Here is a link to the manufacturer: web page

By the way, this canopy cost me less than a Firebird or a Tel-trex and the way it's made if you ever hit something hard enough to damage it, you can replace that part instead of buying a new canopy. Let me tell you this thing is tough. I've already hit my share of limbs and no worries. It's called Tufftop.
