Canopy on ZD 1211 mower

I'm thinking of a canopy for my ZD 1211 to provide some sun protection. My dealer suggested the "Orange aftermarket" fiberglass one with built in downdraft fan. He said that besides sun protection the downdraft fan will provide cooling air AND help in dispersing dust. Has anyone used this product and if so what are your comments

I’ve got a beefy aluminum canopy on my mower that double duties as a limb plow. Unless you don’t mow around trees or do good job trimming I wouldn’t have a fiberglass canopy.

I recently got a ZD 1211 and I am looking to get a canopy, too.
I think I want one without the fan. I want one that is easy to take off so that I can mow my small orchard.

You make a good point. I had a fiberglass one on my old Kubota some years ago and it took hits from the trees and I try to abide by my rule of if a tree limb hits me in the face it won't be there the next time I mow
