Can't add threads to favorites anymore?

Can\'t add threads to favorites anymore?

Hi,

Well...as simple as it should be, or perhaps as simple as I am proving myself to be...I have tried and cannot figure out how to add a thread to my favorites list anymore!

I have read the faq and looked at all the screens at "My Home" and tried reading posts here in News/feedback...but have not discovered why.... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I think I remember it being a simple thing to do in the past...I have done it a couple times and those threads are still showing as favorites...

Probably something staring me in the face that I don't see...is this function still here? How do I do it? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Bill,

If you have a lot of favorite threads not all of them will be listed on your home page. If you look right beside Favorite Threads you will see underlined in parentheses (...view all.) Clicking on (...view all) will take you to another page which shows the complete list of all your favorite threads. Hope this helps...

No...I actually only had 3, and deleted one to see if it would delete...it did.

I can't seem to see what to click on to get a thread added...so simple a question that I really tried not to ask it!

But like I said, the answer is probably looking me right in the eyeball and I just can't see it! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Have you tried clicking on Favorite Thread! (toggle) near the bottom of the page? This may be an obvious question but I have to ask... just trying to help you find the answer through a process of elimination.

Henro,

Cstock is correct. The only way is to click toggle at the bottom of your page. But be careful, if it has already been added to your favorites you will turn it off. Just make sure you wait for the next screen after clicking of toggle and it will tell you what you did.

Hi, Just got back from my first welding class at the community college... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't see any favorite thread listed. All I have showing is:

Previous Index Next Flat Threaded

What is puzzling is that I clicked on <font color="blue"> Favorite Thread! (toggle) </font> in your message and apparently this thread became on of my favorites as the result... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I wonder how I cannot be seeing this! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I remember there used to be a place to click on something like "make this thread one of my favorites" but I can't find anything similar to that now, nor can I see anything similar to what you described. I am logged on...is that favorite thread button on the bottom of the page where the posts are viewed?

As I mentioned in my reply to Chris, I just can't see "favorite thread" or anything similar written anywhere on the screen...

I'm gonna be so /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif when I find it...but it really does not seem to be there. Where exactly do you see it? I also don't see the word toggle and the only toggle type function I see is to switch between flat and threaded mode. When I did that I don't remember seeing anything different... with respect to adding the thread to my favorites...

It's down at the bottom of the page......under the Moderators names.

Way down at the bottom, scroll as far down as you can, you will see extra information on the left hand side, then moderators then Favorite threads toggle.
