My wife just brought in 8 more cantaloupes from the garden. So I went to the fridge where she already had one cut up, and I eat it all for breakfast.

When I eat that much cantaloupe, I end up having to pee a lot. Watermelon is even worse. It's a small price to pay for:licking::licking::licking:. One year I had about 15 cantaloupes ripe and ready to eat after giving several to the neighbors. I took 8 of them to my local barber/beauty shop where I get my hair cut. I told them to give them out. The next time I went to get a haircut, I asked the lady who cuts my hair if they had any problem giving them away. She laughed at me and said she didn't even try to give them away. She took them all home and had a feast.:D

I love cantaloupe , but if I ate that much at one sitting, my day would be shot. I spend most of it in the bathroom. Then again it might do me some good because I'm always being told I'm full of "it".

I haven't grown cantaloupes since I left my Parents home, entered the Army, got married and raised my own Family. I still buy them at the grocery store or farmers' market. I remember my Mother freezing excess cantaloupe. She would use an ice cream scoop or large spoon to make cubes. She would then place the cubes in a plastic freezer container, sprinkle a little sugar on top, and seal. After removing the cantaloupe from the freezer at a later date to eat, the cantaloupe was still tasty. Our extra chest type freezer always had strawberries and cantaloupe in it.
