Anyone with any leads or tips on a Ford 770 FEL, your help very much appreciated. I'm located in WV and own a '82 Ford 1700 4wd. I have a Ford 201 snow plow on the front now I'd like to sell once I find a 770. Thanks.

I'm in a same pickle as you're in. I looked high and low to no avail. There are many options on new loader with much better joy-stick option and adaptor kit for 1700. Koyker is good one to be had but between $3500 to $4000 is somewhat prohibitive with that vintage tractor. Best deal I have seen is 1700 with a loader @ about $6000. If your loader work is simple and limited just like picking and dropping a load of manure then dirt scoop might not be a bad choice.

Also worth checking out would be a good used DuAl 105. It's about the same physical size as the Ford 770, as far as I can tell, but I believe it's built a little heavier and the lifting capacity may also be a bit more. I have a 105 on my 1510, and it's a good fit.

Of course, some of the veteran members here may be able to straighten me out if my comparisons are wrong. ;)

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep an eye out for the DuAl 105. I've been keeping on eye on the web but in June for some reason I didn't and too late discovered a 770 in Tenn. that went for $300 at auction. Looked in good shape in photo. Snooze you loose.

I also need a FEL for my Ford 1700. I have a "NEW" Bush Hog FEL M146 without mounts, bucket, or hydraulics to sell or trade....I can not find the mounts for this model to fit my tractor. I suppose one could build them...

Have you tried World Wide Tractor Parts in Bellfontaine Ohio ? Long Lane Tractor in PA ?

I have a Ford 770 Loader still mounted to a Ford 1300 2wd. Tractor has a bad clutch, loader works fine but has a few leaks. $3000 for all or $2500 for the loader. Bryan 920-779-4468 text OK
