Cant get hose off

I have a leak/crack in the middle of my FEL hose. I would like to just replace the hose, but having difficulty with both ends.

In the back2 picture(pic 1 below), what is the removal method? Having a hard time getting to nut 1 (actual hose is the fitting behind the one shown - harder to get to). All parts are moving togeter in housing.

In the front2 (pic 2 below) picture, nut 2 and the hose will rotate a bit, but nut 1 is stuck. Thoughts?

Call the CASE dealer? $

Put a wrench on 2 and turn 1.

In pic 1, just turn the nut

Put a wrench on nut 2 and turn nut 1 to the left..

In pic 1, just turn the nut.

I believe they are both JIC.

Number 2 is not going to turn in the same plane as 3, so a wrench on 3 only should loosen the fitting.

If I am reading this right, the hose you cant get off is the one in the back and not the one with the numbers and arrows. Whats the problem, cant get a wrench on it? I have bent wrenchs just so they would get into tight spots. You say the whole thing is moving when you try to loosen? Does it have a similar fitting set up as the hose in front? If you cant get another wrench on the other fitting you might try wedgeing a prybar, screw driver, etc, behind the fitting screwed into the pump to keep it from turning while using a wrench to turn the hose end. Once the hose is broke loose, it should screw off with fingers.

In the second pic, use two wrenches, one to hold the fitting in the valve and the other to turn the hose end.

Yes - it is actually the hose behind the previous picture - I've put the actual picture below. It seems to have similar fittings.

When I attempt to loosen 3 in this picture, the whole assembly rotates in the housing.

So, I still should loosen 3 in this picture, but perhaps I'll have to wedge something along the green line.. or channel locks along the yellow line?

IMO Channel Locks are a weapon of last resort.

I bought two "specialized" tools that have helped me a lot with my hydraulic PT. (Actually PITA but no one asked).

I got a set of Crows Feet Really helps a lot

I also added a layer of bloody knuckles and have expanded my profanity level. The last two seem to always be the solution that works.

#3 is the nut, if it moves a little and the hose pipe #4 is rotating with it just keep the wrench on nut 3 and give the hose #4 a little tug back and forth, the hose pipes like to seize to the inside of the nut...
