I M getting tired of folks with a lack of respect of others property. The other day Amy was in her 01 Town and COuntry van and was dropping off Savannah at daycare. She had Savannah hout and was going in the building and looked back and saw a City brush truck was at te end of the block heading towards the cars on the street. When Amy came out of the building to get in the van to get to work the Chrome trim and side windows scratched with leaves stuck in the rear vent window. Amy called me and I called the city. Got this line. Did she see the truck number or the driver and did she see it actually happen. They actually got 4 other cars on that side of the road.

They basically told us too bad. The other day I got a little time off and got the yard cleand up really nice. The Inmate and county worker on the back of the garbage truck picked up a bag of trash and instead of throwing it in the the apron of the truck to be crushed the 2 on the back heard a can rattle or something and broke the bag and tossed some aluminum cans in another bag on the back of the truck. THe next bag they broke open in the bin and spilled about half in the road then drove off. I did get even with this. I parked in the road when they came back and made them clean it up. THis was a 30 gallon sack of trash. I made them clean it up.

They also backed over the 83 year old neighbors mail box. I had to fix that. I get home from church this morning and hear a noise that sounds like a 4 wheeler in the land I rent to market garden and hay on. I thought it was dad on his 4 wheeler. I get on the tractor and ride down there to see him. In stead I see one of my market gardens had been used to mud ride in. I did get the law out here and we tracked down the folks that were on the wheelers. I dont know whats to come of all this.

Sorry about your bade experiences.

We have curved, paved streets. Once in a while the city snowplow will 'straighten' the street and plow up the lawn. The city comes out in the spring and fixes it. The city trash crew goes out of their way to grab whatever doesn't stay in the container. The city is very prompt to fill potholes. Perhaps it is pride in workmanship and that they make a living wage.

Sorry to hear of your troubles It's hard to have anything nice. We bought wife my her first new car at the end of May 2011. By Dec it been hit twice in parking lots. Both times by teenage girls on cells phones. The last one didn't have insurance but did have a insurance card.

I planted about a hundred blueberry bushes, various sizes, five different strains, and haven't had a lot of time this year to keep the weeds cleaned out. Neighbors kid and his buddy cut thru my property and drove right thru the blueberry patch with their four wheelers. (more than once). Since the neighbor has been so good to me, I called him up and explained what happened, and for him to tell his kid not to do it again. I then put up pvc pipe posts all around the patch. Hopefully I didn't loose too many, but I know I lost a few bushes due to the damage.

The local road maintenance guys have been great. Of course, the locals here would never put up with felons on the garbage truck....

I was thinking of this thread today, I stopped at a local store to get some gatorade and despite ample parking some lady squeezed right next to my truck and opened her door of her mini van into the side of my truck, never stopped chatting on her phone the whole time and had to notice she hit me, I walked around to see the damage and only had a small mark on my running board while she had a nice crease in her door...serves her right.

My truck has been hit 4 times since I bought it in '05. 3 of the times nobody was in it, it was parked. The 4th time another F250 was driving by on our very narrow and windig roads (very poor visibility) and had his tow mirrors out. Not towing anything, but tow mirrors out. And not bothering on his own side of the road. His mirror smacks mine and smashes it. :(

I stopped having stuff repaired on my truck. Apparently it has it's own magnetic field so why bother taking the dents out. Just stinks to have a new condition low miles pickup all dented.

Really kind of sad the kid hasn't been taught any better. You may have a neighbor that has been good to you but I think he flunked parenting 101.
