Cant wait for snow as usual! possible snow next week

Usually I work under contract for a builderrunning a loader at a hospital but this year im taking off and just going to plow neighbors. Tired of working all night doing circles. Last year was a dud. Looks as though there is a potential snowstorm for us on the east coast for next week. Too early for forecasters to say much. What do yall think. Heres a link.

From what I see on the weather reports a nice snow storm appears to be headed to the northeast the middle of next week. Snow could fly from middle Va I81 corridor north. Afterwards a warm up until Thanksgiving. Could be 2 to 8 inches more the further north you go

A little snow for Christmas, but that would be enough.......not gonna happen is it?


I hope there is no cold/wet weather for the Mid-Atlantic coast region for the next month or so. An Indian summer would be nice. I've seen upper 70's way up here in Nov before.

IMO, Sandy was worse than Katrina, funny how it's not on the front pages as Katrina was.

For the mountains of SW colorado the Weather Service is saying "possibly heavy accumulations" for Friday and Friday night. Hmmm, why haven't I ordered those tire chains yet?

Well it is starting, nothing to worry about but it is sticking. The trees are white, the ground is white, the sky is gray and this white stuff is falling from the sky. Good thing I got the chains on the tractor today! I hooked up the snow blower a couple of days ago and put the chains in my truck. In the morning I will change out my wife's tires and put the studs on for her. I know this storm should only be a few inches but it signals the start of the season. Better to be ready than playing catch up!

We came through that nor'easter in upstate NY, Conneticutt and southern Massachusetts (heading to Vermont). Got pretty intense there for a while, but traffic flowed ok.
