Cant wait for snow as usual! possible snow next week

Twenty miles from here, they got 18 inches, but we only got about 4 so far. For smaller snows I use a UTV to plow, but I hadn't put the plow on yet so I needed to do that this morning. I was able to work our Kubota into the deal by using it (forks) to transport the plow assembly from its summer storage location over to the driveway. Not the best, but better than a day in an office...

A little snow for Christmas, but that would be enough.......not gonna happen is it?


I hope there is no cold/wet weather for the Mid-Atlantic coast region for the next month or so. An Indian summer would be nice. I've seen upper 70's way up here in Nov before.

IMO, Sandy was worse than Katrina, funny how it's not on the front pages as Katrina was.

Even though far more people were affected by Sandy than Katrina, the news coverage was very kind to the current administration. Gee, I wonder if that had anything to do with the political party in power at the time?:smiley_aafz:

There are indications that a good size storm will appear Thanksgiving week which will affect the middle Atlantic and north eastern part of the country. This may in the longer term set the east up for a snowy cold winter. Will have to wait and see
