Can\'t wait!!!

I can't wait for the nice weather to get here so I can start all my projects. It brings a tear to my eyes every time I see the BH sitting in the barn waiting to be put back on and put to use. We still have a bunch of snow on the ground and god only knows how much frost is below that. So for now I'll just have to make do clearing the trees from my building lot. My JD 4210 is ready for some work and will most likely get to when I get the set of forks later this week. They should help with stacking the logs into a nice pile. I post some pics as soon as I can figure out how to do it.

I just put my backhoe on a couple days ago and got in a few hours doing something with it...

But to be truthful, this spring (yes, SPRING IS OFFICIALLY HERE! ) what really brings tears to my eyes is putting my pants on! Must have put on about 15 lbs over the winter... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm with you Henro, I gotta lay off the chocolate and get out this spring to get more exercise.

No snow here now, just lots of mud. But it will dry out sooner or later then it's seat time, big time. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: Can\'t wait!!!

I've had plenty of seat time and it shows around my middle. Can't wait to start digging in the dirt and not the snow. We have lost alot of snow in the last week but still have some 10' high snow banks from plowing.

Re: Can\'t wait!!!

We had a fairly light winter in southern Vermont, most of the snow is gone, my yard is now bare ground, well, actually mud. I took the tractor out to the compost pile yesterday and figured I'd put an hour on the BH turning over & moving everything after the winter....wrong! 4" below the surface I was clanging into solid frozen ground still, it'll be a few more weeks. I was hoping to get a jump start on digging the holes for new concrete piers in the pole barn - not gonna happen.

I did raised rows for my garden. Here's the tool I used.
