Cap for 2016 Chevrolet??

Does anyone know if a leer cap from a 2013 Silverado 2500 xcab short bed will fit on a 2016 Silverado 2500 dbl cab short bed? Doesn't have to fit perfect, just has to be functional. Trading trucks next week.

Nope;tail-gates are different.Had a 2013 and traded for a 2014 Silverado and had to buy a new ARE.Great cap by the way;best in the business.Should be an easy private sale.New Leer caps have a bad rep.
