our 10kw hobart (champion) welder genny needs a carb kit and fuel shutoff solenoid.
looking at the unit, it has an onan branded engine
engine tag itself perplexingly says
robin
e13*97/68 sn 4g2*2002/88*0019*00
eng fam 4fjxs 7202ga
ea 63.64.65
stock # of the unit is 500433
I also have the sn for the unit, but don't see a need to post that unless needed.
any ideas?
is this actually a robin ( subaru ) engine? even though it is onan branded?
trying to figure out where to start looking for aprts.. cummins / onan.. or robin.
even if napa had a carb kit I'd take it at this point.
not sure if there is anything special on the fuel solenoid.. but need that too.
this just got dumped into my lap at work, on top of al the other fun stuff I get to do..
any help is appreciated... ' lawnmower ' engines just aren't my bag...
