I replaced all the knives, clevis's, and bolts on my Caroni flail mower with a set from Flailmaster.
I had just gotten the mower back together after replacing the badly damaged original roller and bearings.
The second time I used it after the repair I broke a clevis and lost a set of blades.
I contacted Agri Supply for some replacement blades and clevis's and found them to be on back order (and crazy expensive $46.00 for two sets of blades and 2 clevis's with shipping)
I used the same setup Danag described on page 130 of the lets talk flail mower thread.
The replacement clevis does require some modification to make it work but I am pleased with the performance of the new blade / clevis combination.
Since the flailmaster setup is heavier than the originals you need to replace all of them at once to maintain balance of the rotor.
As a result I have a whole bunch of the original blades and clevis's that I used for one season and have no use for.
If anyone is interested in some of these replacement blades and clevis's shoot me a PM.
I think the conversion to the flailmaster blades is the way to go but if someone needs just a few sets to get them through the season it might make sense to buy a few used ones.
