It is not done but gets the basic idea of the plan. 4' box. I used 2" angle and 2 x 6's for the deck. I still have to add another board and I am going to add some 2 x 2s to box in the base of the spryer to keep it from moving to much. I want to be able to use the spayer with my jeep and garden tractor too.

Hers is a view of the top. The reason for the 2x is that a sheet of 3/4" ply is almost 30 bucks /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.

I have seen lots of guys use their loader buckets to move sprayers but your box-blade idea works too. Nice inexpensive idea notamustang. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Thanks for the kind words guys /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif One of the reasons I put the sprayer on the box is I am going to add a small boom spaybar. The bar sprays 7' and is only 42" wide. (still has not shown up /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ) I might convert this to a box later for maintenance equipment but, weeds are about 4' and I need to get some knocked down. Hopefully next year I will have a rough cut.

Sprayer bar: Ooooo, that's one thing I'd like to do. We have the same type sprayer ... what kind of bar are you getting, source? Thanks.

Looks like a nice platform to carry a lot of things, but I'm a bucket guy, too when it comes to my spray setup.

I carry my tank in the FEL, hook up the wires to the battery, have the wand looped along the FEL arm and sitting where I can get to it. When I'm using my boom I unscrew the end of the wand and attach a hose fitting that runs to the boom. (You don't want to do this on your grass /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif)
I can either hold the wand handle "on" to get liquid down to the pole or flip the lock on. The boom is "U" bolted to the lower links so I'm not driving over weed killer until it dries, unless I'm backing up. It keeps it at a nice level, too. About 20" off the ground works for my uses. My co-op hooked me up with everything except the pipe to make the boom pole out of.

I like having the tank in the FEL in case there's still a lot of liquid in it when I'm done using it. It's easy to get it out and back into the bucket again in case there's still some weight associated with it.

For empting the tank of excess liquid I have a solution for that. With the drain valve that is a gardem hose thread I will be assembling a 1/2 pvc adapter with a ball valve and some vinyl tube to drain off into a bucket(s). I had that same concern too.

Here it is. I bought the sprayer from him too. The boom fits into my plan of being inside the edge of the box, can't knock it off as easy. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
