Ok this is a separate post for my other tractor, 1985 Case International 385. I have had this tractor since 1985 and has been a good machine. I saw diesel oozing from the Bosch injector pump around the distributor head where it connects to main body of pump. After researching a few posts seems that there is an oring inside head that could be damaged or blown due to a possibility of built up pressure in the pump. According to some of these other post, there could be a restriction at the banjo fitting for the return line causing the pressure to build.
I untightened the return line banjo fitting but did not remove it completely, with tractor not running, as diesel began to flow from it so I am assuming it's not restricted. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation and did you have to replace oring and because diesel is coming from banjo fitting would that mean return is not restricted?
Tks
Thought I would add a picture to show where its leaking
