Case 40b? Thought?

I didnt say they were similar. An LS will never be a John Deere - ever. If you go pound for pound a Belarus is even cheaper. I was simply looking at the application and providing a solution. An LS is not even close to a robust design like a John Deere.

But then we have had this argument over and over. There are those who kind of understand what engineering is and those that don't.

Anyone with common sense will see an LS is a second tier brand.

Lol, this is hilarious. More robust design? Never be a JD? Gosh, I hope not ... I'll take a solid tractor at a great price over the overpriced JD "with easier to source" parts...

Last I understood warranty work is not a profitable proposition. Likely you should not be making promises on CaseIHs behallf

I didn't make any promises, I just stated that LS has told LS owners they can have warranty work done at Case/IH and NH dealers with prior approval. Those folks have posted that here several times. Besides, it's not like somebody is just going to show up a dealer with their tractor demanding warranty service without calling ahead of time.

Seriously, there's no need in attacking me, and messing up this thread because you can only see one color as being good.

I have seen the LS tractors in person. I thought they were a company that made refrigerators. Sorry, this is the parent company that makes LG fridges.

Finally, I did not say it was not his call - again an accusation from you and paternalistic advice - totally unasked for. Also, the 3032E is bigger than a 2032R. I wasn't even looking at the other tractors that you love.

Thanks.

Sounds like your problem might just be that you are uninformed, or ignorant.

To OP: It's hard to go wrong with any of the major brands. I'm a believer that the most important consideration is dealer support; I think it's difficult to buy a brand new tractor that's truly bad. If the Case dealer is nearby, they're a good option. LS may be cheaper, but that doesn't do you much good if the nearest dealer is a hundred miles away. Visit whatever dealers are nearby, see how you're treated, what the place is like (if they're selling tractors out of a trailer...may not be the best idea to buy from them), drive as many tractors you can. Then you have a better idea of how to move forwards. If you've done that, great, sounds like the Case could be the way to go (I am no expert, the only Case I've ever driven had 180 horsepower, not *quite* the same as what you're considering). But there are definitely more options than Deere and Case.

Well guys. I just got back from the new holland dealership. I realized that the 40 is a little bit too big, but the 35 seems like a better size. I got a quote, but do you guys have any experience with them? Thanks, John Gibson

Go into the LS forum, look for info on the R3039. Same tractor. A lot of happy LS R3039 owners. The LS forum is very active, you will get plenty of info on the Boomer 35 there.
