Hello, I have a Case 580M Series 2 backhoe that appears to be leaking fuel from the area of the throttle assembly on the engine. I am not very familiar with the machine and really don't have a lot of details to provide, except that it leaks one drop every 5 seconds at idle and more when rpm's increase. I have a few pictures here, and you can see the oily sheen on the throttle assy (best picture of the throttle is the close up third to the right). If anyone has pointers on what is going on I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

I've had a leak around the injection pump shaft on 2 different backhoes over the years. In both cases it cost me $120 to have them repaired. I asked what had to be done and I was told they drilled out the hole put in a bushing to seal around the shaft. One of them I took off and into a an injection repair shop the other a mechanic came took it off & returned the next day and reinstalled it for the same price as the injection shop.
I'm not sure if that's the case with yours but clean it up and see where it's leaking.
