Case 685 Hydraulic pump replacement

Hi All, fairly new to the repairs on my 685xl, but need to replace the hyd pump, does anyone know if it's a straighforward job or do I need to take the cab off and strip it all down. I've got the part ready, someone told me you access it through the removal of the filter section. I'm not too sure, looks like there are a few sections where it needs attaching, any guidance much appreciated. regards,
