Last week the question of Ulltraction fluid compatibility with Nexplore arose when I had to top-off the transmission fluid in a new Farmall.
I called several dealers and received conflicting information so I contacted Viscosity Oil Company who supplies both fluids to CNH.
Viscosity Oil Company has a technical support team and they responded quickly. The bottom line:
Confusion regarding compatibility arises from Viscosity Oil's advice to dealers against mixing these fluids in bulk storage where the provenance of the fluid could become difficult to determine in the event of a recall or other liability matters.
Case Akcela Hy-Tran Ultraction is fully compatible with Nexplore when mixed in the sump.
That came to me straight from Viscosity Oil Company.
