Case DX45
Last Saturday I was shredding pretty much all day and the fuel gauge was barely dropping. I've had trouble with rats eating the wire before so I finished up and got of to check the wiring. The whole fuel tank was partially collapsed. When I removed the cap it suctioned in air but didn't expand back out until I pressed hard down on the top tank edge. The cap has a small opening inside but I can't tell if it's vented or not. I pushed compressed air into it and there is little or no air loss. Is the tank vented through the cap or through a vent hose? It's a 2009 DX45

Those tanks are typically vented through the cap. Put a hose on the nipple and see if you can blow through it. If not.....she's clogged
