Case-IH 384 leaking diesel from governor

Hello! First time posting, been trying to find information about the inside of the governor, like the position of the springs. I have the o-rings for the top cover and new gasket.
I'm hesitant about replacing the o-rings without knowing what and where everything goes. I've seen another governor taken apart on another make, not sure if this one would be that simple.
I have all the manuals and even looked at the exploded parts list. There does not seem to be much info anywhere on this.
Any help out there?

CHECK WHERE THE WEARMARKINGS IS AND REPLACE PARTS AT THAT POSISION .......THEN CHECK FUELRETURNLINES FOR BLOCKAGES
