Comparison Case IH 55c / NH Boomer 55 Loader Performance

Hey there,

Just a quick question. I'm looking to determine if Case or NH has provided an upgraded loader valve on their units as compared to the LS XR4100 series equivalents which, from what I read, are not all that great. I know that CNH manufactures their own curved boom loaders that can at least lift a little higher, but can you run both the bucket curl and raise the boom at the same time?

Unfortunately the Case dealer near me doesn't have any of this type of tractor in stock and if someone had some experience with these loaders it would save me a road trip to the nearest New Holland dealer.

I can’t speak directly to the 55c but I have a 75a and I can run both curl and lift functions simultaneously. I would assume that they likely use the same control valves.

I have a Boomer 40 so I realize that there could be a difference in valves but I cannot do both functions at the same time.

I'm looking at purchasing a new unit in the 55 engine HP range. I have both a Case and LS dealer close but neither have the tractor I'm looking for on the lot so I appreciate the feedback. I really like that series of tractor (XR4155 / 55c / Boomer 55) but I think the loader controls might lead me to look at some other units.

There's a Kioti dealer nearby with an NX5510 that I'm starting to like as well. I'll be trying that one out next week sometime and I'm hoping to find that loader a little more to my liking.

I have a Boomer 3040 (not LS made). It has the 250 TLA curved boom loader. I can curl and raise at same time. Lifts 1450 lb bales easily.
