The solid rubber tires I have have tread and look just like the pneumatic ones so gripping is not an issue.
Are they like a never flat wheel barrow tire?

All the wheel barrow tires I've seen just have grooves around the circumference of the tire. These solid rubber tires actually have tread on them. The rubber is somewhat firm. Probably like a pneumatic tire that is pumped to it's max rated pressure. The picture I posted is not very good for looking at the tires. I can take another tomorrow and post and probably figure out who I bought them from if you're interested.
I am searching for the same solution. I have a Frontier front blade that I want to pull the shoes off and insert same style with a roller. My use is on hard surface and don't want to score it up. Keep me posted on your solution.
