Cat 0 3pt hitch for a ATV on a CC 2500

Has anyone modified one of those ATV 3pt hitch kits for use on a CC 2500? It looks like they just go into a standard 2" receiver hitch on the ATV.

I was thinking I could modify my rear bagger mounting plate by welding in some bracing and a 2" square tube to accept the ATV 3pt hitch kit.

That bagger bracket goes into the frame rails on each side and mounts through the draw bar as well. If I put bolts through the frame rails on each side through the bagger bracket and one through the draw bar I am thinking that will lock it up nice and tight to the frame.

I would love to be able to use cheap and easy to find cat 0 3 pt hitch attatchments.

Before I bought my tractor I made a 3 point trailer to pull behind a Yamaha Rhino, with a box blade or a dirt scoop. Worked pretty well and weight was on the trailer wheels. Agrifab sells one but I made my own, used a 12v winch to raise and lower the implement.

That's going to be my next project. If you like building things and can fab your own, I think you'll save a lot of money. I found this cat-0 kit on ebay that might help get the project started. Even with the ATV hitch you'll have to fab a good bracket to the CC frame.

Well, i am going to modify this to fit the back. Hopefully I get it sometime next week and can then start modifying it.

I don't have one for a Cub Cadet 2500 but I did adapt a Kolpin 3-point hitch for a Green & Yellow Garden Tractor. So far I am satisifed with it. No problems.
