I had good luck with a product called Nil' Odor and paint. I scrubbed the floor with a this power scrubber. Once dry, when I spray painted the walls, I did the floor as well. The test is when you have a period of damp dank days and you can or cannot smell that odor.

My wife, a vet tech, witnessed someone cleaning a litter box with bleach. If I remember correctly, she stopped her but the girl did some minor damage to her esophagus. To the op, the best way to rid the smell is remove and replace the floor if possible. I have used a baking soda paste and/or 50/50 water/vinegar with some success. I used Kilz once, not real pleased with the results.

Petsmart / Petco / etc sell a lot of products that will neutralize the odor -- you can soak it into the wood. Then judge how well it works and go from there. I've had good luck with those products on wood materials.

I second the suggestion to pull the baseboard and check the drywall. That is best replaced all together, plus pulling it gives you access into the stud bays to spray more cleaner.

There is a product called Odor-ban they sell it at Home Depot...it will kill the odor in the plywood and in the dry wall....
