Hi I have just dismantled my cav rotary pump 3233f450 first pump I have stripped, reason for stripping is low pressure at the injector pipes... Barely about dribbles out when turning it over on starter... Tractor runs tho which is surprising as the amount of fuel that doesn't come from the injector pipes.. Hard starting and diesel smoke colour not much but you can smell it clearly an also has a sticky exhaust flap lol not sooty.. I've stripped the pump not fully yet already have a kit for when it comes to put it back together with new vains and ring at the rear of the pump but I'm not sure that's where the problem lies... I've been looking at the cam track and rollers? Not Checked the rollers fully not dissembled that part yet.. The cam track does have some slight marks on it though from the rollers, is it good practice just to replace the cam track and rollers any way? Do you think this is where my problem lies from not having much pressure from the injector lines? Any injection pump pro's could help me out to spot any thing that would cause this? First pumped I've ever stripped with help of some youtube vids so not quite sure of all the terminology of the parts yet... Thanks guys
