I just bought the tractor and finally got it to stop smoking and running well.
Next the PTO belt startrd jumping off,I remover the mule grive and found that someone had decided that the two lockig pins that hook in the front of the frame didn't need to be there so they cut them of,this leaves all the weight of the mule drive assm.hanging on the PTO belt....not a good thing.
I made new pis and welded them in and evey thing on the mule drive went into place and lock like it should but I can't get the rear mounting latcth pins to line up with the holes in the lift frame...........anyone know of a trick or an adjustment I need to make?
This is the deck that came on the tractor when it was purchased new from Del-Mar Equip. in Delaware in Jan,1989.
The delivery recipts and all the paperwork came with the tractor..........
