I've used Motorola Phone Tools successfully with a 551 before.

I'll have to look at which version I was using... It's been awhile.

Thanks to everyone for the information. I'm going to visit my AT&T office tomorrow to decide whether I want a telephone upgrade (probably not) and then decide which way to go.

I was offered the Phone Tools software by the guy
that sold my last phone here this past september, free.
i ended up finding an old version online someplace
and upgrading, and upgrading, over and over , to get
it current. but i don't think you can move photos until
you get that software..
(unless you use email or bluetooth)

That's a good point.

Bird, if you can email the photos then receive them on the PC as incoming mail, that bypasses a lot of unneeded complexity.
