It was finally delivered today. A 3010 with Kubota FEL- LA 482. After three weeks of waiting it finally arrived at 3:30 this afternoon. Tractor was in stock from day one when I fell in love with it. Tractor dealer held it for me that long being he knew me very well. I was selling a rent house in order to purchase this beautiful piece of machinery, but buyer for rent house had a little difficulty getting loan although it was okay by bank. Bank and lawyer took time to get paper work together, seeming like I was never to see this tractor again. I had allmost given up on it and told dealer to go ahead and sell it, that it was taking too long, but he knew I wanted tractor. Anyway I was going to get it one way or another. I hope I never have to go through a waiting period for anything that I want again. This almost ran me bersick.
I just inherited a part of our estate. Eighteen acres of good flat country Louisiana land with house, barn and pecan orchard. Too make a long story short I put 2 1/2 hrs work on it this afternoon with fel loader and box blade. I also bought a 6 ft. hause box blade from an independent dealer who I knew very well at a good deal. I think so anyway. Wife, daughter, grandkid love it very much & watch me perform on it and noticed this old country boy is not quite up to par like he use to be, being raised on a farm. Sometimes you might have a tendency to forget what you might have learned while being a country boy but it comes back and then moving to something else especially when you become Grand Pa. three times. Tomorrow I teach them to drive with close supervision. They will be taking some of my seat time. Friday I should be receiving my 6ft. rfm. Can't wait. Talk Later I enjoy this forum.
