Let me get this straight. AmJawa, who is(was?) the North American distributor for Zetor tractors and Kukje tractors branded as Century(Zetor), no longer has the Zetor distributorship contract.
Recently the Century line was discontinued, and rebranded Zetor. Zetor now won't have any compacts in the NA market?
Does your statement "has nothing to do with the relationship between Kukje, Century and American Jawa" mean that the Century line will be coming back?
Will AmJawa replace the Kukje tractors with TYM tractors? Will they still import the Kukje/Zetor branded tractors and use TYM as the Century line?
What is the time line for AmJawa to clear all this confusion up?
I'm not really worried about getting service on my machine. Theres only a few more months left in the warranty, andd the Kukje/Branson line of tractors seem to be doing well, which means I will have access to parts for the most part. The two Century dealers nearest me haven't had a Kukje tractor on their lots in months. One now sells LG Montana's. This is the dealer I bought from. When I asked about this he said that they got a better deal on the LG's, that they offered Hydro tranny, and they could actually get some. The other dealer now has Mahindras on his lot. The local Branson dealer always has new Branson tractors at his place.
After reading the above paragraph, it sounds like I'm bashing Century, but I don't mean it that way. They are GREAT tractors and mine has done everything I've asked with minimal problems. The problems I did have my dealer has taken care of with out question. Support has been superb.
